No motivational thought seems to help any longer — what does motivate us I wonder

If anyone knows what motivation depends on, on a professional level, please do let me know. If you know a good book on the topic, please comment. I need your help.

I always choose a picture for a reason. For the fun of it I typed into Canva ‘Slovenia’ to see if anyone has contributed photos from my country, and lo and behold — there was this beautiful city-scape, the kind of picture I used to take of cities on my few travels. I used to be a photographer, you see. And I really have to say, used to be, because I haven’t taken my camera into my hands in ages. Lately I’ve been trying to find the motivation to get back to it, but the old enthusiasm is simply not there and not because I stopped loving photography. It’s just…not there.

So far I managed to find the strength to stay positive and was pulling love seemingly out of air, trying to write articles which perhaps would help others to dig even deeper to find that strength. Today will not be one such article. Today I have to admit that I have reached my limit.

As a step-mother you are expected to be the heart of a home, even though you are also expected to never say anything negative. On top of it all I lost my space and was literally sleeping where everyone has to pass by to go to the kitchen or the…
