LOL, spot on. I've learned a lot from your article, you really know what's going on. I just can't keep up with who is doing what all the time, so articles like yours are enlightening.
Didn't realise the hate for trans people is this big these days. And I agree, lesbians will never disappear.
What fascinates me is that since donkeys people always tried to find a sexual angle to stomp on. At first it was just revealing an ankle, then gay people, now trans. Once this hype dies down, what will be next?
But people never try to stomp on what's actually relevant and vile: sex slavery for example. Or slavery in general today. But that's too uncomfortable. No, no, no, they have to find something that is completely irrelevant yet still stirs people's imagination, right?
I never understood that anyway - why are people threatened by someone else's sexual orientation? It's a private thing. I really couldn't care less as long as it's about consenting adults. Nor would I ever let anyone else limit me either and even though I see myself as straight, my husband finds it hot that I've slept with a couple of women back in the day.
But people have always had the knack to meddle in other people's lives, trying to find the point that hurts them. Or as you pointed out, it's simply being used for a political agenda, to score points with those narrow minded people who still give a damn about such things.
I like your fire, Katelyn:)
