Can I go forward in time when all I wish for is the past?

I’ve heard someone say once:”You know you’re getting old when you resist new technology.”

As tech savvy as I am for an average person, I definitely feel the resistance growing and with it a kind of resentment. Can anyone relate to that?

I worry about (our) children today and their education (or lack thereof) but who is to say they will even need this knowledge tomorrow which we are imposing on them today?

Heaven knows I’ve got some big balls but the future scares me. It doesn’t scare my husband and I think he’s got the right approach, diving into the most advanced ideas of technology and trying to make sure it will be the kind of technology which will serve us all well, not just a few people.

I wouldn’t oppose flying cars. I love cars and I love to fly, could be a thrill.

Do you remember the movie “The Fifth Element”? It’s my favourite movie of all times, one of the first to show flying cars on layered streets up in the air. Ever since I was intrigued by the idea and I’ve been convinced for some time now that we probably already have that kind of technology but people are hiding it from us for now, trying to use up the old model of income — oil. OK, fine.
